Below are the answers to the most common technical questions about landlogic.
What operating systems does landlogic support?
Landlogic runs on Windows XP (home or professional), NT and 2000. It will run on Windows 98, although we do not provide technical support for this operating system.

What are the client requirements?
Landlogic requires a minimum screen resolution of 1024x768, 128MB of RAM, and preferably a pentium class processor. If running as a standalone application, the local storage requirements will vary depending on the number of facilities being supported.
What are the server requirements?
Like most server based applications this will depend on the number of clients, number of facilities and transaction volume. Landlogic's transactional databases are extremely compact and facility data resides in client memory once it has been served. Any of today's modern servers equipped with reasonable memory (512MB - 1GB), a high performance drive, and good cacheing technology will easily host landlogic.
Does landlogic run on Tablet PC's?
Yes. Landlogic supports tablet pc's running Microsoft Windows XP Tablet Edition, 1024x768 resolution, 128MB RAM, and either external or internal storage.
Does landlogic support PALM PC's?
No.
Does landlogic run on CITRIX METAFRAME Servers and Clients?
Landlogic is already an extremely thin client, as such, it easily runs on CITRIX servers and clients.
What database does landlogic run on?
Landlogic runs on an xBase compatible database called CODEBASE. It's a very fast, thin client database that runs across a variety of platforms and requires no licensing fees. Click on the following links to read about CODEBASE's features, performance, and customer list
Does landlogic publish a database dictionary?
Yes.
What is landlogic written in?
Landlogic is written in C++. Most of our low level graphics primitives are written in C.
Are landlogic maps compatible with other applications?
All assets represented on landlogic maps can be exported to ESRI shapefiles. Assets are grouped together by type and exported as a single shapefile which can then be imported into other GIS applications as a layer.
Can we import existing map data into landlogic?
Landlogic can import all ESRI shapefiles. AutoCad DXF files can be imported by converting them to shapefiles and then importing them.
Does landlogic currently support ARCSDE?
No. ArcSDE is ESRI proprietary server software product that serves spatial data to ArcGIS applications, to Internet applications thru ArcIMS, and to applications developed with ArcGIS Engine and ArcGIS Server. ESRI currently does not support third party applications.
Does landlogic have a FTP site?
